Rob attended the University of Cape Town completing a BSc (Chem) in 1985, BSc Med (Hons) Sport Science in 1986 and his BSc (Physio) in 1991. After a year at Groote Schuur Hospital he and Kim became the owner’s of Rob & Kim Sims Physiotherapists Inc, in 1993. Since then he has continued to be fully clinically involved in the Practice. He is an OMT trained Physiotherapist and maintains a special interest in any Neuromusculoskeletal condition, be they acquired in the Sporting, Working or day to day living environments. He involves himself in both the acute phase and rehabilitative management of such injuries.
He has involved himself in participating in most sporting codes and therefore has an understanding of the mechanics of a multitude of sports. Currently he spends a fair amount of the year in pitch and poolside management of injuries in the Rugby and Waterpolo codes of sport at Rondebosch Boys High School in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs.
